Our New Pillows

The kindergarten is very excited to have new pillows for rest time. Kristen, Jack's mom, generously donated her sewing skills to create sixteen small pillows out of four large ones for us. They are beautiful! Thank you Kristen!

Also, a big thank you to Jody, Luka's mom, for washing our hand towels on the weekends! It is such a help to us!

Today Jeanette Wilburn visited our class to talk about the spine and her work as a chiropractor. She brought a model of the spine named Spike and showed the kids how all the vertebrae fit together with discs in between. Kids learned about the tailbone, the sacrum, the spinal cords, the pelvis and the nerves too. Jeanette told two stories about what chiropractors do, one including a baby and one about a 2-year old who couldn't poop. Ask your kindergartner what happened in the stories! Thank you, Jeanette!
